o:34012 Das Neolithikum als Ausgangspunkt einer exemplarischen Betrachtung von kultureller Transformation de In dieser Diplomarbeit wird versucht, anhand von exemplarisch ausgewählten Funden der Mittel- und Jungsteinzeit die grundlegenden Veränderungen des Neolithikums zu skizzieren. Ausschlaggebend für diese Veränderungen waren zunächst die klimatisch- geografischen Veränderungen im Vorderen Orient, welche die Grundvoraussetzungen für das daraus resultierende Sesshaftwerden lieferten. Untersucht wird, in welchem Zusammenhang dieses Sesshaftwerden mit der planbaren Ernährung steht und welche Rolle die Keramik dabei einnimmt. Neben der Keramik verweisen auch andere künstlerische Ausformungen dieser Zeit, wie Malereien, Handabdrücke, Werkzeuge und Bestattungsrituale des Jungpaläolithikums und Paläolithikums, auf ein differenziertes Menschenbild und stützen somit die Überlegung, dass sich vor rund 30.000 Jahren wesentliche geistige und mentale Errungenschaften manifestierten. Ideen und Vorstellungen vom Leben, dem Tod und der eigenen Verortung dazwischen werden durch Beispiele von Ausgrabungen von Grabstätten aus dem Neolithikum aufgezeigt. This thesis attempts to delineate the fundamental transitions during the Neolithic Age by discussing a selection of finds from the Mesolithic and Neolithic period . In the beginning, the crucial factors for these transitions were shifts in the geographic and climatic conditions in the Levant area. These changes were the basis for the resulting sedentism.This paper researches the correlation between sedentism and the predictability of the availability of food and which role ceramics take in this process. Apart from ceramics, other artistic expressions of this age, such as paintings, hand prints, tools and funeral rituals point to a more sophisticated idea of man and support the theory of crucial mental achievements of mankind from around 30.000 years ago.
