Um in ihrem Brotberuf als Museumsaufsicht Perfektion zu erlangen, ergreift sie unterschiedlichste Maßnahmen. Diese reichen von körperlichem Training über die Aneignung berufsspe-zifischer Qualifikationen bis hin zum Erwerb von fundiertem Fachwissen. In den selbst erstellten Aus-bildungsplan investiert die Künstlerin ihr gesamtes Einkommen. Dadurch wird das ambivalente Verhältnis von künstlerischer und nicht-künstlerischer Arbeit sichtbar gemacht. In der abschließenden Performance, zu der die Künstlerin potentielle Arbeitgeber*innen, Professor*innen und Kurator*innen einlädt, ver-schwimmt die Grenze zwischen symbolischer Darstellung und ökonomischer Realität. To attain perfection in her day job as a museum security guard she takes various measures ranging from physical training to acquiring professional qualifications and profound expertise. The artist invests her entire income in her self-compiled education plan. In this way, the ambivalent relationship of artistic and non-artistic work becomes evident. The concluding performance, which Großkopf invites potential employers, professors, and curators to, blurs the border between symbolic representation and economic reality.
