Inspired by these questions, I dealt with fashion history and analyzed many different garments since they came into existence. I quickly came to the conclusion that the clothes had already occurred in every form and on every gender in history. But through our socio-cultural associations, we attribute a piece of material by whom it should be worn. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to start the attempt to sew an outfit that is declared as genderless and that it first aligns itself with the wearer. Kann die Kleidung ein Geschlecht haben? Wenn ja wo zeigt es sich? Wie hat es sich entwickelt und wie hat es sich im Laufe der Jahre verändert? Angeregt von diesen Fragestellungen habe ich mich mit der Modegeschichte befasst und viele verschiedene Kleidungsstücke bis zu ihrer Entstehung hin analysiert. Schnell kam ich zu dem Entschluss, dass die Kleidung schon in jeglicher Form und an jedem Geschlecht in der Geschichte vorgekommen ist. Doch durch unsere soziokulturellen Assoziationen schreiben wir einen Stück Stoff zu, von wem es getragen werden sollte.
