Snap, Tackle and Pop” wird ein kombinierbares, textiles Modulsystem als Pop-up Spielintervention zwei Spielgruppen temporär zur Verfügung gestellt. Die voluminösen, taktilen Objekte können von den Kindern selbständig kombiniert, gehandhabt und verändert werden. Das Spielmaterial ermöglicht auf übersprachliche Weise soziale, kognitive und verbale Fähigkeiten auszubauen, indem in das fantastische “Spiel-als-ob” eingetaucht wird. Das Spiel bildet Grundlagen für neuartige Rollenspiele, die, weg von gängigen Stereotypen, neue Körperbilder und Geschlechterkonstruktionen imaginieren lassen. Der Ablauf wird anhand von diskreten Notizen und Audioaufnahmen dokumentiert, abschließend erfolgt die Umwandlung der zählbaren Daten: Diagramme werden neben beobachteten Transformationen, Rollenbildern und Spielräumen sowie potentiellen unabsehbaren Spielinhalten ausgewertet: Beide Betrachtungen tragen zur verbesserten Implementierung zukünftiger, vergleichbarer Projekte bei. Snap, Tackle and Pop“ introduces a portable, modular system of textile elements as pop up play interventions in two kindergarten play groups. Each tactile, voluminous element will be constructed in such a way, that it can be handled, combined and modified easily by young kids. This play material enables players to broaden their verbal, social and cognitive competences through immersion in a world of make-believe, often independent of language. As a basis for a different kind of role-play it assists in envisioning novel body images and gender roles, away from common stereotypes. The course of play will be chronicled for future reference: discrete observations are documented via note taking and audio recordings. To conclude all concise number data will be converted into diagrams that are analysed along with observed transformations, role models, play frames as well as unpredictable play contents to allow for the improvement of forthcoming similar projects.
