<lom:langstring xml:lang="de">the orange tape ist ein achtminütiger 16-mm-Film, der im Herbst 2019 in Venedig gedreht wurde. An verschiedenen Orten wurde zu unterschiedlichen Tageszeiten gefilmt. Die Kamera wurde dabei händisch geführt und folgte einer instinktiven und verspielten Herangehensweise - die Kamera schien zu tanzen, auf der Suche zu sein, wollte Bilder aufzeichnen, aus denen sie ein Gedicht schreiben konnte. Die präzise Bolex-Kamera ist dabei das Werkzeug, mit dem die Spuren des Raums im Filmstreifen eingeschrieben werden. Der Schnitt ist kameraintern. Die Eigenschaften des Films wurden von Conny Frischauf in Klangebenen übertragen. Der Film ist Ausdruck eines Begehrens einer Raumqualität, eine Widmung an das orangefarbene Licht, eine Geste an die Atmosphäre der Stadt - ein filmisches Gedicht.</lom:langstring>
