<lom:langstring xml:lang="en">Das künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Projekt Ferment-Fiktionen der Ω-3 Fettsäuren setzt sich aus drei Komponenten zusammen: Einem experimentellen Forschungsessay, den Fermentationen zu seinen Kapiteln und einer gemeinsamen Degustation dieser als Mehr-Gänge-Menü. Das Forschungsexperiment soll mit der Forschungsmethodenpraxis des Fermentierens ökologische, ökonomische und politische Beziehungsgeflechte des Starmoleküls – der Omega-3 Fettsäure – konservieren. Dadurch wird praktisch gefragt, wessen es bedarf, um eine verantwortungsvolle Lernpolitik des planetarischen Kümmerns und Verkümmerns, Essens und Gegessen-werdens zu leben. Fermentation ist in dem Projekt haltbarmachende Methode und Theorie. Haltbarmachen bedeutet, die multiplen Omega-3-Geschichten des Essays zu sinnlich erlernbaren Erfahrungen zu organisieren, um ein Mit-Denken, -Essen und -Werden zu verstoffwechseln.

1. an experimental research essay that applies rules of academic writing but with a more artistic and process-oriented approach;
2. fermentation-object that reflect the content of the chapters of the essay;
3. a lecture dinner in which the fermentations are used as ingredients.
Fermentation - the interspecies practice of preserving food - is method and theory in the project to preserve stories. These stories all deal with the star molecule, the omega-3 fatty acid. The narratives draw an infrastructure of various bodies and places where omega-3 is embodied and political context that are entangled. </lom:langstring>
