<ns1:description language="en">The short film "tasty earth :: broken mountain" deals with a Swiss mountain village which is moving. The bilingual village Brienz/Brinzauls (German/Romansch) is situated in the middle of a landslide area. Built on layers of rock which porous masses absorb too much water and thus start to slide, the edge of the Brienzer Rutsch landslide grows by more than a metre every year. This leads to landscape changes, erosion and rockfall, as well as cracks in buildings and roads. The tectonic movements can also have more serious consequences, such as sliding slopes or even a landslide.

The short film "süffige Erde :: gebrochener Berg" combines conversations in the mountains with the scenery of a sliding mountain. My film traces constellations of land and people, tells stories: about frictions of a mountain stabilized by technology and a natural event, about nostalgia of an alpine mountain landscape and those who call it home.
In Leonhard Münch's artistic reflections during the film shooting in the Swiss mountain village of Brienz, the poem by Paul Celan "Conversations in the Mountains" accompanied him. Through this poem, questions were formed that the short film tries to negotiate. Questions of identity, of home, of being on the road and arriving, and therefore the connection between place and self, between man and landscape, between identity and belonging.
