A good friend of mine speaks of two rooms of listeners when publishing a song. My first drafts of texts are often very personal and I start to rewrite them. I change the ego perspective or the words, to something more accessible. In this installation the artist Ellen Obier takes on this process in improvising the written script. The monotonous notes, that lead through the time span of a day negotiate about personal rooms, the one of your own and the one you share with the outside. The thoughts partly reflect on acoustic, bodily or visually experiences and loose connotations, on the other hand on very precise situations, experienced as a public person and musician. Each of the 7 episodes conclude with excerpts from lyrics, referring to the notes and a soundtrack, composed with choral chants, harmonium and trumpet, spreading on 6 speakers. In Zusammenarbeit mit der deutschen Parodistin Ellen Obier habe ich den Prozess des Songwritings visualisiert. Ein guter Freund von mir spricht bei der Veröffentlichung eines Songs von zwei Hörerräumen. Meine ersten Textentwürfe sind oft sehr persönlich und ich beginne sie umzuschreiben. Ich ändere die Ego-Perspektive oder die Worte zu etwas zugänglicherem. In dieser Installation greift die Künstlerin Ellen Obier diesen Prozess auf, indem sie das geschriebene Skript improvisiert. Die monotonen Töne, die durch die Zeitspanne eines Tages führen, verhandeln über persönliche Räume, den eigenen und den, den man nach außen teilt. Die Gedanken spiegeln teilweise akustische, körperliche oder visuelle Erfahrungen und lose Konnotationen wider, andererseits sehr präzise Situationen, erlebt als öffentliche Person und Musiker.
