o:3868 Barocke Kinderporträts aus der Gemäldesammlung der Elisabethinen in Klagenfurt Minimalinvasive Restaurierung de Die Kinderporträtsammlung des Konvents der Elisabethinen ist ein wichtiges Zeugnis höfischer Porträtproduktion im 18. Jahrhundert. Aktuelle Resultate von kunstgeschichtlicher Forschungsarbeit zur Sammlung werden in Kontext zum materialtechnischen Bestand der Kinderporträtgruppe gestellt. Untersuchungen an exemplarisch ausgewählten Gemälden bringen Erkenntnisse zur Herstellungsgeschichte und den eingesetzten Materialien. Durch ungünstige Lagerbedingungen bestehen ausgeprägte, großteils klimatisch bedingte Schadensbilder. Der Schwerpunkt der konservatorisch-restauratorischen Maßnahmen besteht in der bestmöglichen Wahrung der Authentizität und mündet in einem minimalinvasiven Konzept. Ausgehend von der Erhaltung der originalen Aufspannung gelingt eine weitgehende Rückformung der substanzgefährdenden Deformierung des Bildträgers. Die Spannung wird durch die Anwendung einer entwickelten Methode zur Adaption des Spannrahmens reguliert. The collection of childrens' portraits at the Convent of the Sisters of St. Elisabeth is an important testimony of courtly portraiture in the 18th century. Current results of art historical research regarding the collection are put in context of a material-specific inventory of this group of pictures. The examination of the paintings, which were selected for their exemplary character, revealed information on their history and properties of the materials used. Unfavorable storage conditions have led to pronounced damage symptoms, often due to climatic conditions. The focus of the conservation and restoration is to ensure the best possible authenticity and results in a minimally invasive concept. The preservation of the original stretching effected a substantial degree of reshaping the deleterious deformation of the image carrier.
