This square allows the new Wien Museum to interweave with its context in formal and programmatic terms. The new museum project not only incorporates the Viennese past but also represents a dynamic institution that reviews Vienna as a constant work in progress. The visitor has not only the possibility to investigate historical and contemporary aspects of Vienna’s diverse cityscape but can also experience its artworld in a new manner.
