The work is based on the examination of three, basically exchangable, photographies (out of an estate), of which single elements were extracted, sampled and transformed. The result is an installation consisting of five parts - series of objects, drawings, as well as a video and a soundpiece - arranged within a room.

The installation deals with the matter of memory, resp. with the appropriation and processing of someone's own or someone else's memory and identity.

Of general importance for the work are the thought of absence that attends any sort of memory (as the reconstruction of anything not present anymore) as well as the focus on the process of transformation that returns the medialised memories, which have been conserved within the medium of photography for about 40 years, to the presence - back to the material, the object and back to the space.</dc:description>
