During the Cold War these playgrounds were very popular in both communist and capitalist countries. They were associated with a positive future, with the time after 2000. Today, however, the present is quite different than this imagination. The project Out – hanging adapts these playgrounds. Spielplätze des Kalten Krieges, deren Konstruktionen Neugier und Begeisterung der Kinder für den Weltraum fördern sollten, sind der Ausgangspunkt für die Arbeit “Out – hanging“. Diese Spielplätze waren während des Kalten Krieges in kommunistischen sowie kapitalistischen Ländern sehr beliebt. Sie wurden mit einer positiven Zukunft, den Jahren nach 2000 assoziiert. Heute unterscheidet sich die Gegenwart jedoch von dieser Vorstellung.
