As Yuan believes, the foundation for faith - he means the Bible - is visible as the word of God. Through the paintings, Yuan tries to find himself and sees them as testimony for Jesus, as spreading of the Gospel and praising of God. The subjects are Bible legends linked with the presence by building associative bridges.
