University of Applied Arts Vienna Kapikule "Die Initiative für die EP „Kapikule“ entstand anlässlich des Diploms im Sommersemester 2021. Sie umfasst vier Tracks: Kapikule – Minibüs – IslakIslak – Biz Burdayiz. Die EP greift Themen aus der bunten, aufreibenden Welt des kulturellen Zwiespaltes einer jungen Frau auf, die als Kind einer türkischen Familie in Deutschland aufgewachsen ist. Die Widersprüchlichkeit der Erfahrungen spiegelt sich stilistisch in der Kombination deutsch- und türkischsprachiger Lyrics ebenso wieder, wie im Wechsel der Perspektiven zwischen dem subjektiven Ich und der Außenwelt, die in einer visuellen Hyperwirklichkeit dargestellt wird. Sie zelebriert die bunten Unterschiede, die jede*n von uns ausmachen und formuliert Kritik am Zwang zur Identität. Das Diplomprojekt umfasst alle vier Tracks inklusive Lyrics, Musik und Interpretation. Im Rahmen des Diplomprojektes wird exemplarisch ein Track mit einem eigens produzierten Video präsentiert. Drei weitere Tracks werden mit Lyric-Videos vorgestellt. Zusätzlich wird für die Künstlerin MissMuz der visuelle Auftritt am Beispiel der EP „Kapikule“ entwickelt und umgesetzt." The EP explores issues the colorful, grueling world of cultural conflict of a young woman who grew up as a child of a Turkish family in Germany. The contradictory nature of the experiences is reflected stylistically in the combination of German and Turkish-language lyrics as well as in the change of perspectives between the subjective self and the outside world, dying is represented in a visual hyper-reality.
