phaidra.bibliothek.uni-ak.ac.at o:40535 gepanzert The topic of Barbara Schoppers work is the inside and the outside: Big balls out of clay which have a few tunnels throught to see on the one hand the inside, and on the other hand the outside of the ball. The outside shows the structure of the technique. For the inside of the tunnels and the gaps in the skin of the outside, Schopper used red glaze. This work shows how a living thing is absorbing and reflecting its surrounding. Barbara Schopper beschäftigt sich mit der Innenwelt und Außenwelt: Kugeln aus Keramik, die an manchen Stellen durchbohrt sind und somit Tunnel durch die Kugel bilden, um die Innenseite sowie die andere Seite der Kugel zeigen. Die Außenhaut weist die Struktur auf, die bei der Fertigung entstanden ist, d. h. sie wurde nicht nachbearbeitet. Die Innenwände dieser Tunnel sind rot glasiert, die Außenschale wurde in den entstandenen Ritzen mit derselben Glasur eingefärbt.
