Judith Eisler summer term 2013 Vincent Bauer beschäftigt sich in seinem Diplom mit der Alternativdiskothek "Strich 8" in Niederbayern, die 2007 schließen musste. Kurz bevor er an die Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien ging, hielt er die letzten Abende auf Film fest. Sechs Jahre später setzt er dieser Diskothek nun ein Denkmal. Der Film ist zum einen eine Erinnerung an eine kleine Bar in der Provinz, zum anderen eine Neubewertung und Rekonstruktion seiner eigenen Vergangenheit. Vincent Bauer Strich 8 2013 Sommersemester Vincent Bauer is dealing in his diploma with the alternative club “Strich 8” in Lower Bavaria, which had to close in 2007. Shortly before he went to the Angewandte he recorded the last nights on film. Six years later he raises a cinematic monument for that place. On the one hand the film is a memento of a small bar in the provinces.
