phaidra.bibliothek.uni-ak.ac.at o:41209 26.930 und unendlich viele Punkte In ihrer Diplomarbeit „26.930 und unendlich viele“ untersucht Johanna Binder die charakteristischen Beschaffenheiten des Mediums Malerei und konzentriert sich dabei in der ausgestellen Arbeit auf den Bildträger. Dazu werden einerseits die Flächen dreier Keilrahmen mit Punkten verschiedener Durchmesser vermessen, welche dabei gezählt werden. Andererseits wird ein Keilrahmen aus einem Acrylharz abgegossen und dieser in den Raum gestellt. Dabei soll auf die dreidimensionale Objekthaftigkeit des Bildträgers verwiesen werden und der Blick auf die Seiten und die Rückseite gleichsam wie auf die Vorderseite gelenkt werden, wobei das Verhältnis zwischen Vorder- und Rückseite aufgehoben wird. In her Diploma „26.930 und unendliche viele“ Johanna Binder does an analysis about the physical characteristics of the medium of painting on focusses in the exhibited work on the materiality of a canvas. Therefor on the one hand she measures the canvas surface with different sized dots which are counted. On the other hand she casts the body of a canvas in resin and locates it in the middle of the room.
