nomad ist ein selbstlaufendes, bildakkumulierendes system, das seine eigenen Regeln und Mechanismen mit denen hinter einer Internet-Suchmaschine verborgenen kombiniert und so stets nahezu unvorhersehbare Ergebnisse und Bildwelten mit einer unzählbaren Menge an Autorschaften kreiert.

Nach Eingabe eines Begriffes macht sich nomad auf die digitale Reise.
Besucht werden die Top100-Google-Sites, die mit dem gesuchten Begriff assoziiert werden. nomad besucht diese Seiten wie ein Bot - jene Programme, die Seiten für Google indizieren - aber nomad interessiert sich in erster Linie für andere Dinge als der Suchmaschinen-Agent. Gesammelt werden Hintergrundgrafiken, Pfeile, Icons, Linien und ähnliche Grafiken. nomad invertiert den Blick der Suchmaschine durch das Anhäufen dieser Platzhalter.

nomad is a kind of autonomous, image collecting system, that combines its own rules and mechanisms with the ones of an internet search engine and therefor creates nearly unpredictable results and images with an uncountable amount of authorships.
The nomad engine begins its journey after a term has been entered. It visits the top100 google sites related to the given term, but its interest in those sites is different from the one of the search engine bots. Nomad collects background graphics, arrows, icons, lines and similar graphical elements. It inverts the search engine&#39;s view.</lom:langstring>
