<lom:langstring xml:lang="en">Overwhelmed by never-ending attractive possibilities of the world wide web, the brain is scattered into a focusless multitasking run. Fuelled by the immediate gratification of dopamine shots, the mind is propelled thru hyperlinks, constantly collecting bits of information, saving URLs for a “later” that won’t ever come. Attention span is decreasing, long term memories are harder to form, the excitement and comfort of prosthetic knowledge and memory is rewiring the brain and changing human behaviour. Recomposing memory embeds web surfers interviews and uses the retracing of their own browser histories as source material to create an interactive audio visual composition that follows the dynamics of contemporary web browsing.</lom:langstring>
