<dc:description xml:lang="en">Sharing belief, that open source culture brings
a major shift in society's everyday transactions,
our thesis projects aims at imagining
and envisioning ways, how such culture could
leave large scale material traces. While
currently mostly web-based, there is a growing
demand for tangible, inhabitable interfaces
open for a wide range of creative uses, often
incompatible with current understanding of
building functions, performances and forms.
In order to fully understand these new perspectives
we decided to work simultanously on a
possibly wide range of fields architecture
operates within. Our thesis consists therefore
of multiple parts highlighting specific aspects
of a larger narrative using diverse media.
Proposal for Hackerspace in Berlin unifies them
and sketches trajectories of further research.</dc:description>
