Looking Back to the Future - Transfer as a method of artistic practice The cooperation project "Hallstatt-Textiles" between the textile class (Prof. Barbara Putz-Plecko) and department for archaeometry (Prof. Regina Hofmann-de Keijzer) University of applied arts was the origin of my artistic and scientific degree dissertation. The first part of my work describes the current position of the research in the salt mine of Hallstatt, the place of the discovered textile fragments and gives a review of the prehistoric textile techniques of the Iron Age. The focal point in the second chapter is the concept of my fashion collection, dying experiments and the analogy with other cultures.
