Im Vordergrund steht die mechanische Freilegung archäologischer Kleinfunde aus dem 8. Jahrhundert. Naturwissenschaftliche Analysen bringen Erkenntnisse über die Zusammensetzung der Kupferlegierungen und ausgewählter Keramiken. Weiters wird auf technologische Aspekte bei der Glasperlenherstellung bzw. beim Metallguss eingegangen. Ein ergänzendes Thema behandelt die Bergung archäologischer Grabfunde. The Contents of Two Avarian Graves from Bruckneudorf , Burgenland The wide variety of materials involved in a closed archaeological find of grave contents call for special conservation and restoration measures. This diploma thesis discusses mechanical methods of unearthing and cleaning of small objects from the 8th century. Scientific analyses provide information about the composition of copper alloys and of selected ceramics. Furthermore, technological details of the production of glass beads and of metal casting are examined. A supplementary theme deals with the salvage of archaeological material from graves.
