Elena Valcheva Elena Valcheva Wolf Dieter Prix Wolf Dieter Prix The project is a building dedicated to Fashion Weeks in Mexico City. The location is a very prominent and central spot just on the border between the busy high-density street La Paseo de la Reforma and the wild woods of Chapultepec park. The building is situated in a vacant space among the big highway bridges which at the moment create rather an obstacle for pedestrians to enter the park from either side: the residential areas in the south or the historical center from the east. The urban concept requires the functions to be public or semi-public as the building represents a transition between architecture and landscape. The Fashion Weeks usually happen only twice a year and for the rest of the time the building would be a leisure center containing a skate park, entertainment zone, a roof park and a market.
