The location is a very prominent and central spot just on the border between the busy high-density street La Paseo de la Reforma and the wild woods of Chapultepec park. The building is situated in a vacant space among the big highway bridges which at the moment create rather an obstacle for pedestrians to enter the park from either side: the residential areas in the south or the historical center from the east. The urban concept requires the functions to be public or semi-public as the building represents a transition between architecture and landscape.
