The focus is primarily on a critical analysis from a feminist perspective on the basis of exemplary works by predominantly male artists and authors who use the motif of the water woman to depict imaginings of femininity of the respective of the respective time. Diese Bachelorarbeit betrachtet die Entwicklung und die Perzeption des Wasserfrauenmythos in der Literatur und in der bildenden Kunst von der Antike bis in die heutige Zeit.
