Der Fokus liegt hierbei primär auf einer kritischen Analyse aus feministischer Perspektive anhand beispielhafter Werke von überwiegend männlichen Künstlern und Autoren, die anhand des Wasserfrauenmotivs Imaginationen der Weiblichkeit der jeweiligen Zeit abbilden. This bachelor thesis considers the development and the perception of the myth of the waterwoman in literature and in the visual arts from antiquity to the present time.
