<dc:description xml:lang="de">Diese Bachelorarbeit betrachtet die Entwicklung und die Perzeption des Wasserfrauenmythos in der Literatur und in der bildenden Kunst von der Antike bis in die heutige Zeit. Der Fokus liegt hierbei primär auf einer kritischen Analyse aus feministischer Perspektive anhand beispielhafter Werke von überwiegend männlichen Künstlern und Autoren, die anhand des Wasserfrauenmotivs Imaginationen der Weiblichkeit der jeweiligen Zeit abbilden.</dc:description>

  
<dc:description xml:lang="en">This bachelor thesis considers the development and the perception of the myth of the waterwoman in literature and in the visual arts from antiquity to the present time. The focus is primarily on a critical analysis from a feminist perspective on the basis of exemplary works by predominantly male artists and authors who use the motif of the water woman to depict imaginings of femininity of the respective of the respective time.</dc:description>
