Her intention is to evoke irritation and overstimulation. The pictures and texts are easily constructed, clearly legible and emotional charged. They shell also represent the steering of people’s wishes, ideas and everyday life.</lom:langstring>

<lom:langstring xml:lang="de">Klement beschäftigt sich in ihren Siebdrucken mit dem täglichen Einfluss der Massenmedien auf unsere Denk- und Lebensweisen. Ausgangsmaterial sind diverse Printmedien, stellvertretend für andere Massenmedien. Klement hat unterschiedliche Bild- und Textinformationen in Gruppen angeordnet und sie bewusst inhaltlich unterschiedlich zusammengefügt, um beim Betrachter Verwirrung und unterschiedliche Assoziationenzu provozieren. Die einzelnen Bilder und Texte sind in ihrem Typ einfach konstruiert, klar lesbar und meist emotional beladen. Sie sollen die Art und Weise wie Medien Wünsche, Ideen und den Alltag der Menschen steuern, repräsentieren.</lom:langstring>
