Ziel ist es, sich Durchgangsräume auf eine persönliche Art und Weise zu nähern, zu untersuchen was eine Person entlang einer Alltagsroute finden kann und wie sich dies auf Mensch und Raum auswirkt. Ein Buch verbindet künstlerische Studien und theoretische Recherche und kommuniziert die Ergebnisse dieser Annäherung. In drei Schritten bewegt sich dieses Projekt von einem räumlichen Überblick, zu Orten und Landschaften, sowie der persönlichen Erfahrung einer täglichen Routine. Eine Route kann durch eine schwarze Linie in der Karte gezeigt werden. Sie kann aber auch durch 100 Zeichnungen dargestellt werden, oder durch eine Sammlung von Geschichten. Eine gewöhnliche Route kann eine künstlerische und theoretische Recherche inspirieren. Was sich verändert auf dem Weg von der Linie zu einem vollen Buch, ist die Beziehung zwischen Person und Raum. Umso mehr Zeit, Leidenschaft und Aufmerksamkeit dem Raum schenkt wird, umso mehr lernt man ihn kennen und das Gewöhnliche schätzen. The project “special, spacial collection” focuses on everyday spaces and personal routes through public, transitional spaces between two destination points. The objective of this project is to approach transition spaces in a personal manner, to explore what a person can find along an everyday route and how this influences space and person. A book combines executed artistic studies and theoretical research, to communicate the results of this study. In three steps this project proceeds from an areal overview, to the dynamics of space and place and the personal experience of a daily routine. A route can be represented by a black line in a number of maps. It can be more than 100 drawings of places, or a collection of changing stories. An ordinary route fills a book with artistic and theoretical studies. What changes during the process from single line to full book is the relation one has to a space.
