<lom:langstring xml:lang="de">Gegenstand der Diplomarbeit ist die Art, wie
sich das Verhältnis von Kunst und Politik in
der Gegenwart gestaltet. Die Arbeit untersucht
künstlerische Strategien, die sich mit einer
der komplexesten politischen Herausforderungen
der Gegenwart beschäftigen: Migration und Flucht.

Hausegger vergleicht die unterschiedlichsten
gestalterischen Verfahren mit Hilfe derer zeitgenössische
KünstlerInnen auf die globalen Migrationsbewegungen
in ihren Arbeiten reagieren und
versucht mit Hilfe von Werkanalysen allgemeine
Schlüsse zu ziehen.

Acht exemplarisch ausgewählte Werke aus den
letzten zehn Jahren dienen ihr zur Analyse.
