<dc:description xml:lang="en">In this work, current examples of popular culture are used to explain how one can distinguish an authentic person from one who only stages authenticity. It will be tried to find out if these actions are authentic or only a try to stage authenticity by actions or appearance in order to achieve an effect or reaction, based on decisions made by the persons concerned.</dc:description>
