Found Footage und Culture Bashing dienen sowohl
als konzeptorische wie auch als stilistischgestalterische
Grundlage der Arbeit.
Mythologische Figuren aus dem alten Griechenland,
Mittelamerika und Polynesien sind die
Handlungstragenden der Geschichte von Everything
they like. Lexikalische Beschreibungen der
Protagonisten werden mittels digitalen Übersetzungsmaschinen
entfremdet und dadurch in erzählerische
Texte verwandelt. Der entstandene Text wird
mit Found Footage Bildern und Video flankiert
und ergänzt, verdichtet so den Handlungsstrang,
und führt ihn gleichzeitg ad absurdum.
Skulpturale Elemente treten in Verbindung mit
der Erzählung und erschließen neue Be-spielebenen.</lom:langstring>
