  <dc:description xml:lang="deu">Pawel Szostak widmet sich der Realität, begraben unter Metaphern, Ablenkungsmanövern und schlechten Übersetzungen. Es geht längst um etwas anderes. Die Kunst als Überlebensstrategie, manchmal naiv, meistens gelogen. Die Welt ist ein fragiles Konstrukt, überladen mit Informationen und Reizen. Szostak liebt die Reizüberflutung, sie beruhigt ihn. Es gibt Bücher, Bilder und Filme. Die virtuelle Realität schaut vorbei und man nascht Wurst und Käse. Das Ego ist dauerpräsent und wird ständig hinterfragt. Szostak wird gebeten in der ersten Person Singular die Arbeit zu beschreiben, möglichst kurz und knackig. Kein Problem, er ist knackig wie ein Essiggurkerl, geprägt von seiner Realität, der einen und einzigen. (Wieder so eine holprige Übersetzung.) Er setzt sich hin und schreibt diese Worte. Er ist ich.
