<dc:description xml:lang="de">“Down to Earth” ist eine Videoinstallation, die aus 28 Schuhpaaren, einem Videomonitor und einem vier Minuten langen Film besteht, der im Loop abgespielt wird. Der Film zeigt die Bewegung der getragenen Schuhe, die zu ‚Schuhwerken’ werden. Denn an die Schuhe sind Zusätze wie Mausefallen, Regenschirme oder Rückspiegel montiert, die die Schuhe in performative Objekte transformieren, die Benutzung erschweren und die Funktion der Schuhe verändern - die jetzt verschiedene Rhythmen erzeugen und Geschichten erzählen.</dc:description>

  
<dc:description xml:lang="en">&quot;Down to Earth&quot; is a video installation, which consists of 28 pair of shoes, a video monitor and a 4 minute film. The film shows the movement of feet while wearing these shoes. On the shoes are mounted everyday objects such as mousetraps, umbrellas and drillers which transform them in performative objects and change their function.
