  <dc:description xml:lang="deu">In Strange fruits setzt sich Maja-Iskra Vilotijevic mit lebensentscheidenden Momenten ihrer Vergangenheit auseinander, die von Abzweigungen und (Aus-)Brüchen geprägt sind. 
Anfang der 1980er Jahre in Jugoslawien geboren, ist ihr Weg von den politischen Ereignissen bestimmt, die tief in ihr soziales und familiäres Leben reichen. 
Die Arbeit ist in vier Kapiteln unterteilt: Sister, Mother, Father und Brother.
Als ein Zusammenspiel von Beklemmung, Wut und Verbundenheit portraitiert Strange fruits ein individuelles Schicksal, das von kollektiver Erfahrung nicht zu trennen ist.</dc:description>
