<lom:langstring xml:lang="de">In Quick Code Service widmet sich Hui Ye dem Verhältnis von realen und virtuellen Lebensbereichen. Dazu (re-)konstruiert die Künstlerin ihre eigene Identität innerhalb der Strukturen von WeChat, einem wichtigen digitalen Kommunikationswerkzeug im gegenwärtigen China. Ohne physisch anwesend zu sein, bittet die Künstlerin ihre Freunde vor Ort, den QR-Code, der ihre Person auf der Plattform WeChat repräsentiert, in unterschiedlichsten Zusammenhängen zu benutzen und auf diese Weise ihre digitale Identität zum Bestandteil eines chinesischen Sozialnetzwerks zu machen. Quick Code Service ist der Versuch, sich nach zwölf Jahren Abwesenheit in eine massiv veränderte chinesische Gesellschaft wiedereinzugliedern und der Entfremdung mit digitalen Mitteln zu entkommen. Quick Code Service ist ein fiktionales Video mit dokumentarischem Charakter.</lom:langstring>
