Durch Recherchen im Archiv des KKZ (Krščanska kulturna zveza/Christlicher Kulturverband), Betrachtung von relevanten Objekten und Interviews schafft die Arbeit ein Bild der Volksgruppe in den 1980er Jahren und offenbart die tiefe Verwobenheit des Puppenspiels der Kärntner Slowen*innen mit Fragen der Sprachnutzung und des Spracherhalts, des Volks(gruppen)bewusstseins, des Aktivismus, der Kirche und der künstlerischen Innovation. Based on the play Božanska komedija (1985) by the puppet theater group Lutkovna skupina dunajskih študentov, this thesis examines the network of artistic, cultural, cultural-political, mi- nority-political and activist actors of the Slovene ethnic group in Carinthia in the 1980s as well as the dynamics of belonging when identification categories come into conflict.
