University of Applied Arts Vienna Speculative collaboration as a practice in the appraisal of time. ‘Speculative collaboration’ is framed here as an investigation guided through an artistic dialogue with the late artist, poet and philosopher I. Rice Pereira, positioning itself as an experimental practice that probes the entanglements of time, identity, and the porous boundaries of authorship. This research does not approach collaboration as a straightforward cooperative act, but rather as a generative space for the coëxistence of distinct temporalities and identities.
