phaidra.bibliothek.uni-ak.ac.at o:7524 Die Erinnerung in gegenwärtiger Textilkunst und konstruktivistischer Kunst-Didaktik The present paper basically deals with two aspects: with memory and textile material. Memories, autobiographical as well as collective ones, create identity by connecting past with present experiences. For that reason they are not only material of the author’s own artistic work, but are also used in the context of her pedagogic activities – because it’s the longing for identity which all different kinds of youth cultures have in common. As textiles are providing data of memory, they are also a main focus in the author’s artistic work, its contextualisation in history of arts and in teaching textile arts to teenagers. Especially therefore created school projects, based on aspects of constructivist didactics, were tested with a twelth grade school class. The valuable connection of this specific range of topics is certified by a positive feedback from all kind of participants as well as by a numerous quantity of the adolescents’ individual learning processes. Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich im Wesentlichen mit zwei Komponenten: mit der Erinnerung und dem Textilen. Erinnerungen, sowohl autobiographischer als auch kollektiver Art, sind identitätsstiftend, indem sie einen Zusammenhang zwischen vergangenem und gegenwärtigem Erleben schaffen. Aus diesem Grund sind sie nicht nur Material der eigenen künstlerischen Arbeit der Autorin, sondern auch im Zuge ihrer pädagogischen Tätigkeit von Interesse – denn das Streben nach Identität ist gemeinsamer Nenner aller Jugendkulturen. Als Datenträger von Erinnerungen fungieren textile Objekte, die ebenso den Bogen von der künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung der Autorin über deren Kontextualisierung in der Kunstgeschichte in den Textilunterricht Jugendlicher spannen. Die dafür entwickelten Unterrichtsprojekte werden mittels Überlegungen der systemisch-konstruktivistischen Didaktik formuliert und sind in gekürzter Version mit einer Oberstufenklasse erprobt.
