Die winzigen Häuschen bieten ein kostengünstiges, ökologisch nachhaltiges Eigenheim. Sie beeinflussen das Leben ihrer BewohnerInnen vor allem in sozialer Hinsicht und fordern einen bewussteren Umgang mit Konsum. Diese Arbeit geht der Frage nach, welche Beweggründe es gibt, auf wenigen Quadratmetern zu leben, und wie sich das Tiny Life auf die BewohnerInnen auswirkt. Dafür werden einige Tiny House Pioniere beispielhaft herangezogen und der Umgang von Kunst und Architektur mit dem winzigen Wohnraum betrachtet. With increasing housing costs and their efforts, there is a growing interest in tiny houses. The tiny dwellings offer an economical and ecological property house. They socially influence the life of their owners and demand for a more conscious consumer behaviour. This work searches for reasons to live on few squaremeters and the effects of the tiny life on tiny home owners.
