Die Arbeit 3'2,2m3 resultiert aus einer Auseinandersetzung mit der skulpturalen Objekthaftigkeit alltäglicher Gegenstände und der Funktion von Klang als immateriellem Material. Aus Lüftungsschächten geformte Objekte rufen zunächst den Eindruck einer rein skulpturalen und statischen Arbeit hervor. Doch in den einzelnen Lüftungskanälen sind Überdruckklappen eingebaut, deren Lamellen durch angesteuerte Ventilatoren in Bewegung gesetzt werden. Diese Steuerung variiert und wird wie eine Komposition eingesetzt. Neben einer De- und Rekontextualisierung alltäglicher Gegenstände spielt in 3'2,2m3 auch das Immaterielle eine Rolle. Sound als nicht-materieller „Stoff“ wird von seiner Umgebung sowie von seiner ursprünglichen Funktion abgekoppelt und schafft als Baustein neue Architekturen und Raumwahrnehmungen.

The work 3'2,2m3 is the result of an investigation into the sculptural presence of everyday objects and the function of sound as immaterial material. At first the objects formed from ventilation shafts evoke the impression of a purely sculptural and static work. However, excess pressure flaps have been built into the individual ventilation ducts, and ventilators control the movement of their fins. The actuation varies and is employed as in a composition. In addition to the de- and recontextualisation of everyday objects also the immaterial plays a role in 3'2,2m3. Sound as an immaterial “fabric” is uncoupled from its environment and from its original function, becoming a building block for the creation of new architectures and spatial perceptions.
