Im zeitgenössischen Tanz ist die Verbindung verschiedener Kunstformen ein essenzieller Bestandteil des choreografischen Prozesses. Textile Materialien spielen dabei eine besondere Rolle: Sie interagieren mit dem Körper, verändern den Raum und erweitern das Bewegungsvokabular. Anhand historischer und zeitgenössischer Werke, u. a. von Loïe Fuller, analysiert diese Arbeit die Wechselwirkung zwischen Tanz und Textil sowie die daraus entstehenden ästhetischen und performativen Möglichkeiten.

In contemporary dance, bringing together different art forms is an essential part of the choreographic process. Textile materials play a special role in this context: they interact with the body, change the space and can expand the movement vocabulary. Referring to historical and contemporary works of art, including those by Loïe Fuller, this work analyzes the interaction between dance and textiles and the resulting aesthetic and performative possibilities.
