Pro Forma Pro Forma ist Grundlagenforschung. Die Variablen Punkt, Strich und ihre Zusammensetzung zu einer Form sind Grundelemente der Gestaltung. Pro Forma bedeutet in dem Zusammenhang eine Position für die Form und ist dadurch prinzipiell positiv gepolt. Der Titel verweist auf eine Notwendigkeit der Positionierung zu Formerscheinungen. Natürlich wird die Tatsache des Abschlusses an einer Kunstuniversität als intervenierende Variable nicht ausgeblendet. Was bedeutet die freie künstlerische Form im Kontext einer universitären Prüfungssituation? Wer ist die Beobachterschaft und welchen Stellenwert hat sie? Nicht die Antwort will erarbeitet werden, nur die Fragen gestellt. Wenn es um die Beschäftigung mit der Form geht – einem Begriff der sowohl in beinahe jeder wissenschaftlichen Disziplin als auch jedem Alltagsfeld vorkommt und mit einer etwas divergierenden Bedeutung versehen ist – dann müssen Bedeutungen grundlegend geklärt werden. Zu diesem Zweck wurde das beiliegende Taschenbuch fabriziert, welches den Versuch unternimmt, Formerscheinungen und Formbildungsprozesse nachzuvollziehen und ebenfalls für Dritte nachvollziehbar zu machen.

When the form is the topic – a term which is present in nearly all scientific areas, as well as in every daily routine and which is affected with diverging meaning – then the relevances must be clarified. For this reason, the accompanying pocket book was made, in an effort to reconstruct the appearance of form and the process of form development in order to make it traceable and tangible for third parties.
