"Some Call the Them Balkans" ist eine Open Call for Actions, die das Ground Tour Projekt dazu bringen wird, eine Dramaturgie der nächsten Ground Tour, die im Sommer 2018 quer durch den Balkan geht, mitzugestalten. Die Dramaturgie zu inspirieren und zu unterstützen der Open Call enthält ein 'Open Script'; offen gelegt durch seine Zusammensetzung von Stimmen aus verschiedenen Bereichen der Region, und durch seine offene Erzählung, die viele mögliche Enden und Anfänge vorstellen kann. Das Open Script erzählt eine Geschichte von 6 Charakteren, die Teile des Balkans beschreiben, die das Projekt während der Forschungsphase im Sommer 2017 kennengelernt hat. Durch den Open Call werden individuelle und kollektive lokale Akteure eingeladen, mit der Produktion eines reisenden Theaterstücks zu beginnen . Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, die Etappen und Dramaturgien einer Tournee zu schaffen, die als gemeinsam geschaffene Geschichten der Fantasie zwischen 6 Balkanstädten entlarvt: Belgrad, Sofia, Skopje, Tirana, Pristina und Mostar.

‘Some Call Them Balkans’ is an Open Call for Actions that will lead The Ground Tour Project to co-produce a dramaturgy of the next Ground Tour, which sets out across the Balkans in summer 2018. To inspire and support the production of a dramaturgy, the Open Call contains within it an ‘Open Script’; made open by its composition of voices from different areas of the region, and by its open narrative that allows for many possible endings and beginnings to be imagined. The Open Script tells a story of 6 Characters that describe parts of the Balkans that the project got to know during the research phase in summer 2017. Through the Open Call individual and collective local actors are invited to embark on the production of a travelling theatre piece. Together the project aims to forge the stages and dramaturgy of a tour that will unravel as co-created stories of imagination that takes place somewhere between 6 Balkan urban sites: Belgrade, Sofia, Skopje, Tirana, Pristina, and Mostar.
