The other place

Dieses Kunstprojekt fokussiert sich auf Marc Augés Konzept, des "Nicht-Ortes". Dieses Konzept wurde entwickelt, indem die Bedeutung der verschiedenen Arten von Orten, die als „Nicht-Ort“ definiert werden können, analysiert wird. Es konzentriert sich darauf, wie und warum diese Orte in unseren hypermodernen Städten so wichtig sind. Tatsächlich werden die Standorte wie die Autobahnen, die Stockages, die “urban voids” oder die unbesetzten Flächen als die "anderen Orte" klassifiziert. Diese sind meistens vernachlässigt und für Bürger unsichtbar. Die anderen Orte wurden direkt bei einem Rundgang durch Wien beobachtet und mit Zeichnungen aufgezeichnet. Der Zweck dieses Kunstprojekts besteht darin, die Wahrnehmung, die wir an diesen anderen Orten haben könnten, anhand einer Installation von 3D-Kunst und Zeichnungen darzustellen. This art project is focused on Marc Augé’s concept called the “non-place”. This concept was developed upon analysing the importance of the different types of places that can be defined as ‘non-place’, and focuses on how and why these places are essential in our hyper-modern cities. In fact, the sites such as the highways, the storage areas, the urban voids or the unoccupied areas are classified as the “other places" and most of the time, they are neglected and invisible to the citizens. The other places have been directly observed by walking around Vienna and have been recorded by drawings. The purpose of this art project is to show the perception we could have on these "other places" using through an installation of 3D art and drawings.
