Ecology of practices in profession: principles and methods of friendship projects

Eine Reflexion über die Ökologie beruflicher Praktiken: Prinzipien und Methoden von Freundschaftsprojekten. Das Freundschaftsprojekt ist eine Sonderform einer Leistung, einer Gabe, eines Geschenkes und verfolgt völlig eigenständige soziale Regeln, mit denen man umgehen lernen muss. Diese Regeln sind jedoch so unbestimmt und mit Sonderfällen bezeichnet, dass es nahezu unmöglich scheint ein klares Muster herauszuarbeiten. Die Installation soll jene Prozesse aufzeigen, die während der Umsetzung eines solchen Projekts entstehen. Hierbei verhält sich die Projektidee ähnlich einem Atomkern - Kräfte werden absorbiert und freigesetzt, bis das Projekt unter enormer Umwandlung von Energie seine endgültige Form findet.

These rules are blurred and soaked with special cases that make it almost impossible to work out a clear pattern. The installation should illustrate the processes that arise during the implementation of such a project. The project idea itself behaves like the nucleus of an atom--forces are absorbed and released around the core, until the project finally finds a final form under enormous energy transformations.
