Author
Bilge Demirci
Description (deu)
Reflecting a huge cultural heritage of Istanbul to a local product that itself can be an iconic for the public transportation. An interpretation to reflect the converging point of different cultures, inspired from Roman chariots to Islamic geometric patterns. The keywords of the project are "provocation", appealing and reflecting the cultural backgrounds of the city, "efficiency" is one of the other keywords of this project - a stepper bike system is prefered instead of conventional pedals due to more efficient climbing in the city. The concept is based on answering demands of locals and tourists - such as shopping, ease of movement, efficiency and smart phone compatibility - in order to have an easy navigation.
