Chaos und Ordnung sind Zustände, die in vielen Dimensionen unseres Lebens auftreten. In der Natur, am Arbeitsplatz, in unseren Gedanken spiegelt sich die enge Verbundenheit von Chaos und Ordnung wieder. Bei genauerer Betrachtung von chaotischen Systemen entdeckt man meist geordnete Strukturen, wie beispielsweise bei fraktaler Geometrie. In Anlehnung an Fraktale und ihren enormen Wert für Chaostheorie, Philosophie und Mathematik, enstand ein Schreibtischmöbel, dessen Form sich jeweils um die Hälfte verkleinert in 4 Grössen wiederholt und jedes dieser Elemente in seiner Dimension seine Berechtigung am Arbeitsplatz findet. Durch Auflösung der Fläche entstehen unterschiedliche Ablagen, Fächer und Rillen zur Aufbewahrung. Gegenstände sind weiterhin im Blickfeld des Benutzers schnell zugänglich, aber platzsparend vertikal verstaut. Die statische Versteifung der Form erfolgt durch eine, sich durch die gesamte Form ziehende Profilrille, die weitere Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten bietet. Die Elemente wären aus leichtem Kunstsoff bzw. Verbundstoff hergestellt.

Chaos and order are conditions, that appear in a huge ange of dimensions. In nature, at work, or in our minds the tight connection of chaos and order is visible. Looking closer at chaotic systems, we often discover very ordered structures, for example in fractal geometry. Inspired by fractals and it's enormous importance for the chaos-theory, philosophy or mathematics, i created a desk for working space, which appears in 4 sizes, each half the size of the previous. All 4 elements find it's necessity in it's own dimension of the working space. The desk's surface contains different files and places for keeping articles, like paperwork, still in sight of the user but very space-saving in a vertical position. The form's statics is solved with a profile, that goes through the whole form and provides further space for articles. The desk and the other elements would be manufactured out of light plastics or a compound material.
