Haas beschäftigt sich mit performativen Interaktionen von Musik, Raum und Licht. Die Schaffung dynamischer Lichträume erweitert die audiovisuellen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten von Musikern. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Lichtkoffer, eine kompakte und modulare Schnittstelle zwischen Hardware und Software. Das Konzept ermöglicht vorprogrammierte wie auch in Echtzeit steuerbare Lichtshows und deren Anpassung an individuelle Bedürfnisse und räumliche Gegebenheiten. Durch den variablen Einsatz dieser Parameter erzeugt jede Performance eine einzigartige atmosphärische Stimmung.

Haas’ work is located at the performative interaction between music, space and light. The conception of dynamic light spaces enhances the expressive, audio-visual potential of musicians. The focal point is the ‘Lichtkoffer’, a compact and modular interface between hardware and software. The concept enables both pre-programmed, as well as real-time, light shows and their adaptation to individual requirements and spatial conditions. Due to the variable application of these parameters, each performance creates a unique atmosphere and experience.
