(A troubleshooter hypothesis)

Die Arbeit ist die konzeptionelle Konstruktion eines universal troubleshooter, der sich als symbiotisches natürliches System selbst generiert - den composite organism - eine unabhängige Lebensform, die widrigste ökologische Veränderungen überlebt. Die Idee eines Beschützenden und Heilenden composite organism, ist eine wünschenswerte Vorstellung, die sich durch die Flechte zu generieren scheint. Bereits die einfachsten Beschreibungen über Flechten leiten die Denkweise in eine experimentellere Richtung, welche bei näherer Beschäftigung mit dem komplexen System - der Symbiose – seine Berechtigung erlangt. Symbiose ist das Stichwort/ der Schlüssel zur Produktion der wertvollen Sekundärstoffe des Stoffwechsels, die in Zukunft eine führende Rolle in den Wissenschaften spielen werden. Die chemischen Zusammensetzungen dieser mehr als 1500 Substanzen sind eine inspirierende Liste an Stoffen, die heilende, schützende und regenerierende Eigenschaften besitzen. Die Hypothese erschließt sich in der künstlerischen Arbeit in zwei Ebenen, einer sichtbare faktischen und eine unsichtbare nur unter UV-Licht lesbaren fiktiven.

It is a conceptually construction of a universal troubleshooter that is generating itself as a symbiotic natural system - the composite organism - an independent form of living, that is able to survive also the highest and strongest environmental interactions. The idea of a composite organism, that is giving shelter and healing different types of diseases, is a desirable conception. With the lichen as that composite organism it becomes an imaginable response. Already the simplest description of lichens (in books, papers, etc.) is leading into the direction of giving it an experimental thought. Digging deeper into the complex system - the symbiosis - an affirmative answer is raising up. Symbiosis is the keyword, which creates those specialities, the secondary metabolism substances that will play a leading role in Future Science. The chemical compositions of those more than 1500 secondary produced substances are an inspiring list of substances and their healing, securing and recovering qualities. In the artistic work, the hypotheses reveals itself in two layers; a visible actual and an invisible just under UV-light readable fictional.
